Spring flowers
At long last there is a little bit of colour in the garden. Everything is so behind compared to last year, but we now have snowdrops, crocuses and winter anemones. In March 2009 the primula denticulata were out and their leaves are only just coming through now.
We had a good go at the back right hand corner of the garden this afternoon. It was completely overgrown with berberis, winter jasmine, honeysuckle and clematis. After much chopping the redcurrant and gooseberry bushes reappeared. Maybe we'll get some fruit in summer 2010!
