Book sale
When times are hard and money is tight, the book sale organized by the Friends of Jacksonville Public Library proves a popular event.
I have always been a great one for a bargain and feel quite elated when I leave with a dozen or more hardback books that have only cost $15. Visiting Barnes & Noble, one hardback can cost upwards of $20.
I am an avid reader of biographies and came away with books on Dylan Thomas, Eli Wallach and Field Marshal Montgomery. The former looked as if it had never been read.
It was then time to turn to photography for today's photograph. I had about three attempts at capturing this kind of shot. The one of this young lady turned out the best.
