A life in pictures...

Remembrance Sunday

For the last few weeks, inspired by the stunning display at the Tower of London, the children and staff at school have all been making poppies. Today, a few members of staff have outdone themselves by the display that they have made. I saw the blip from BikerRich earlier and just had to go and look today. I couldn't get there before dark but they look equally effective at night I think. I am so proud to have taken part in this display and that the children at our school have some understanding of the many lives that were lost in the First World War (110 from Elizabeth College alone.)

And they who for their country die shall fill an honored grave, for glory lights the soldier's tomb, and beauty weeps the brave. Joseph Drake
