City Lights

Got to London at 2pm, we dumped our bags and headed straight out. We went to Trafalgar Square, then walked down past Downing Street (I remember when you could have your picture taken outside No 10 with the policeman), onto the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. We went back to Leicester Square for something to eat, then when it was dark, we went back down to the Thames to have a look at everything lit up. Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament really do look spectacular at night.
After that, we went back to our hotel for a couple of well earned pints (coke for the boys) and a good nights sleep.
