Going for the skeletal look

We decided today to take the other side off the arbour. We had felt reluctant to do it, as it is a big ugly job, but it had to be done. The sterling board was really rotten and sodden, and was pulling the arbour out of shape. This will slow progress, but it will look better in the end.
