Bird on a wire

After a great night with friends and a hearty breakfast we set off on what turned out to be 9 and a half hours journey to get home (including stops and a visit to more relatives en route).

As I was doing the driving no opportunity for photos, despite a lovely view of Bath in the distance and crossing a toll bridge (70p for cars).

So this view of some local wildlife before we set off. We were staying in cuckoo lane but no such bird in sight. So this will have to do! It's almost like a sheet of music: but which note?
