A Day Out

Amy was back at school today but James had an inset day, so I thought I would take him into London for a day out together. Firstly we went to see the poppies at the Tower of London. James was very thoughtful when he realised that one of the poppies was for his Great Great Grandfather who was killed in France in 1915. It's an amazing sight but was awfully crowded.

After that we went to Brick Lane to see The Art of the Brick, an exhibition of Lego sculptures. We both loved it! Amazing to see what can be achieved from the basic Lego brick.
