2nd Graders

Evan had his birthday today at an extremely chaotic indoor climbing center. The 2nd graders and big brothers had a blast. By the time we hit the party room, they were soaked with sweat. The younger siblings and parents were a little overwhelmed, but the party wasn't for us. We had Evan's favorite snacks: Cool Ranch Doritos and fruit and he got his first Coke (an 8-year-old right of passage at our house.) And there was a Star Wars cake per request of the birthday boy. The cake had an added bonus of dying everybody's teeth blue. Yum.

Adding to the excitement, Evan had his first basketball game this morning bright and early. He was very excited to score the first points of the game. After the game Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Gina, Uncle Adam and Cousin Zach came over for a brief birthday celebration.
