RUMBLE IN THE SUBURBS....

... a fantastic day today, our normal busy Monday babysitting our lovely grand daughter Alice!

After she left this afternoon thought had better try a Blip shot... had been a cool arvo, and was really dull sky. Anyway, heard this squawking and noticed this poor ole kookaburra perched on the power pole and being harassed by this willy wag tail first off, then the red wattlebird from yesterday having a go, and then a noisy minor. Finally it took off home.

Not such a great shot but tells another story of life in the "suburbs" for the birds.

And our wattlebird from yesterday finally caught its bug! Check it out here! Again not a good shot but tells the story.

You may recall the massive storm pic from the 13th oct, and the folio collage of how it changed shape and colour so quickly. Well, also sent the middle shot to the Sydney Telegraph weather page and to my surprise it was used for their weather page pic today. Reading the piece to the left of pic it sure suited the current air movements.

Enjoy, and trust you all have a good week. If you wish have a look in LARGE to see the frustration in the kooka!!
