Dinnertime

I was outside working on leaf pickup again, it was late in the afternoon, and I spotted this buck across the field. He stopped and looked at me as I made my way toward my camera, then just continued to eat and slowly move into the trees. From a distance I thought it might be the same buck I saw twice last week, but this one definitely has larger antlers than that one.

We went to church this morning, then went to a Chinese buffet for lunch because Mr M was especially hungry, then spent the entire rest of the day on leaf pickup. We made great progress, but still have much more to go. The weather forecast for the week is fairly good - cold temps but no rain, so we should be able to finish soon.
