Rhinogau

We were meant to climb both these peaks this weekend.

The plan was to hike in and climb Rhinog Fawr (on the right) then camp in the valley between them, and climb Rhinog Fach this morning before hiking out and being back at the in-laws for lunch.

However, yesterday's weather was foul - high winds, pouring rain and dreadful visibility. So we decided to avoid climbing Fawr, but then today we were too far away to climb either and get back in time, so these two peaks are now on our list of one's to have a second attempt at!!

It was great though, we didn't see a soul from setting off yesterday at noon unitl today at noon. If this was the Glyder or around Snowdon it would be heaving!
