The Tate

To Liverpool today, to see the Andy Warhol exhibition. The show was good, in a Warhol's Greatest Hits sort of way, but lacking in depth, detail and coherence, I thought. As I took this a passer-by asked "oh, is this the Tate?"

A Blip tip: if you are ever short of ideas, you could do a lot worse than go to the Liverpool Waterfront, where there is always something to see. For example today, I could have chosen the figureheads on a tall ship, King's Scaffolders, the bridge between John Lewis and the car park or part of a famous skyline.

Inside the Tate, the Warhol exhibition prohibited photography "because the Tate does not own the exhibits" but elsewhere I enjoyed this detail and, in the cafe, a reflection in a reflection.
