Camera test shot.
Busy morning today getting bookwork completed, I hate it but it has to be done.
Bought a manual explaining my new camera and it arrived midday, so it was a cupful of Ainsley's soup and a piece of salmon in filo left over from yesterday together with D. Busch's bible, for my lunch.
I had taken some nice sunsets on the day the camera arrived, but after configuring the camera as I wanted, all was lost, not a red tint in sight. So after reading the first few pages of the "Compact Field Guide" I thought I would revert to the "Scene/Sunset" mode. So at about two thirty off the boys and I went camera in hand (mine not boys) to try for another sunset with the sun shining brightly between the scudding clouds.
We were heading for the Alne Hills via a dovecote at Kinwarton. During the walk, which starts on an old railway track, the clouds slowly built up from the south west. Rain began to be ominous so I took this shot in an act of desperation and then hot footed it back home, arriving just in time desperate but dry.
