Muir Woods, California

Muir Woods is just north of San Francisco. We took an excursion today and escaped the dark conference rooms that were discussing antidepressants and antipsychotics to walk the pristine woods hosting the oldest trees on the planet...the Sequoia red woods. These trees are 800-1200 years old. They reach toward the sky hundreds of feet. The tannic acid they produce protects them from fire, insects, and the elements. Peaceful. Beautiful. God has an amazing imagination!
