Critter-rich Cabanas

Staying in a wonderfully cheap and cheerful mud-hut on the outskirts of the Sinharaja rainforest, we were expecting critters, but were still surprised by how abundant they were almost immediately! This guy was the first of three to show up in our bedroom... Spiders weren't the only residents either - frogs, geckos and a Sri Lankan catsnake showed up as the evening progressed! Safe to say we took extra pains to tuck in our mosquito net that night.
