Baddesley Clinton
A beautiful day, another National Trust property. This shows Baddesley Clinton reflected in its moat - a 16th century house inhabited for 13 generations by the Ferrers (last one died "without issue" in the late 1880s). Of course being so old it has an intriguing history of hidden priests (during the Reformation), murder (when the Lord's wife was caught in flagrante with a priest) and destruction (of which little is known).
The cream tea was rated 3/5, and not as good as the one at Croome Park. Just in case you're wondering.
