We Will Remember Them.

With a backdrop of the ceramic Tower of London Poppies, is a photo of 'Monty'. This was taken in June 1916 of Montague L. Bell, 2/1 Queens Own Dorset Yeomanry. I know nothing about him, but have always wondered who he was and if he survived the Great War. His photograph was in my Grans exercise book album, pasted down, with just the one word Monty. Last week I spent ages scraping off all the glued on paper and discovered his full name and regiment, written on the back. I still don't know if he was a relation, friend or ' lover' of hers! I'll have to do some research.
