Windy Manes

Wee bit breezy again.Managed to avoid helping brand the Blackie gimmers this morning. They get a letter on one horn,and a year number on the other.This is done with a hot iron but they don't feel anything as the outer horn is dead.
Brought some wee calves in this afternoon .Once they were tagged and a rubber ring put on the bull calves, they got a pneumonia vaccine and into a nice freshly bedded shed.
These ponies from next door came up to the fence for a look while I was feeding cows this morning. Presume they wanted fed as well.
