By the light of the moon
As I drove home on Sunday night there was such a magnificently bright moon that I thought I must try and blip the moon one of these days nights.
This isn't it. This is my bathroom ceiling light. Ahem.
I was on a bus at 11 o'clock this morning, so didn't join in with any organised two minutes' silence to mark Armistice Day, but that didn't stop me thinking and remembering.
If you watched the Festival of Remembrance on BBC1 on Saturday night you may have heard Joss Stone murdering an Eric Bogle song called 'The Green Fields of France'.
In this version by Davey Arthur and The Fureys you can actually hear all the poignant words.
