In Praise Of Technology

A young student of mine is losing her eyesight. Her parents and I are very grateful for this technology which allows her to see her sheet music, enlarged and changed to white-on-black. At her lesson, I operate the iPad (at right), which is connected to the large monitor.

My friends think of me as a low-tech person (no TV!), but I'm actually just selectively-tech. :)

As you can see, we are already preparing for Christmas recitals! :)
