Longtail Weasel Under Siege
Taking a walk in the woods, I suddenly noticed some kind of uproar high up in the trees.
A weasel had climbed up there, and the birds were minding him very much. Crows, jays and even blackbirds united against the intruder. A rare sight, I guess!
Well, I can see their point. Breeding season is approaching, and the last thing they want around is a notorious egg thief.
The weasel escaped unharmed, and the birds settled down after a short while.
