The ditch..

..Went to KLB this morning with D and R to look at the Ceilidh House with a view to holding Camera Club meetings there. It's well equipped with heating and lighting, has it's own kitchen, and has it's own screen. Will have to take the Hall projector though.. The idea is to attract some new members from KLB. We will probably use it once every couple of months during the winter.. And it's cheaper than the hall too!

Came back and went straight out to the ditch. Only had a few hours, and got on quite well. The near puddle in the pic is where I located an old stone drain, it's still running, but now diverted into this new ditch. I'm hoping that this new ditch will take most of the water across the croft, and then through A's, rather than collecting in the low spots on both of our crofts.. Got about 5 yards left to do on this run, and then under the track on the W side of the croft, and connect with a ditch on that side..
