Skype

I never fail to be amazed by technology. Two of my best pals live down south and i dont get to see them as much as i would like. But tonight i had a great chat with one of them as we planned the hen weekend of the other! Was great to see her wee face over Skype. Love it.

This week i have also been enjoying harmonies. Last night at choir we pulled out the festive classic Oh Holy Night. Tho often cliched and oversung (and quite frankly murdered my many) it is so beautiful. So much so that when we got to the part where the tenors came in with their harmony half the choir burst out greeting at how amazing they sounded. We just about made it to the third verse before hankies were all passed around. And totally unconnected, I rediscovered Landslide by FleetwoodMac this week. Then remembered i had a Dixie Chicks cover version that has lush, lush vocals........then i remembered about this Dixie Chicks song "Travellin soldier...."
