The eye of the machine

Went to the second part of a mini "sewing machine basics" course this afternoon.
Highly enjoyable.

Here's Bernie demonstrating to one of my fellow students.

Today we tried out tailor tacks, darts, stay stitching, ease stitching, and interfacing.

At one point I realised I wasn't breathing while my foot was on the peddle! Quite ridiculous!

15 minutes before the end of the class a phone call from school meant I had to leave early. Master B had been found asleep on the cushions in the story corner and was quite unwell.
