Pleasing trees

This tiny wood lies beside Benmore Gardens car park, and just as we were leaving the car it struck my how very pleasing it looked this morning, even in the rain that kept threatening to become more serious. There's such a lovely mix of trees in a small area, and the thick blanket of leaves among the bracken hasn't been there long enough to become dark and slimy.

And then there's that last, stubborn bronze tree ...
