Day late cake

With Sara's birthday celebrations lasting from Saturday to Monday, the lovely
chocolate cake that her friend Rachael kindly made had been briefly attacked but the sparklers remained unlit - so when we came back from London we had a ceremonial lighting (and another nibble).

I have just come home from the pottery studio to find that it's GONE .Drat.
