A little tribute
In my last post I said that on the ninth of November I would talk to you guys about my favourite and least favourite Real Techniques beauty products.
You may have noticed I missed that day.. And the day after- sorry.
I have been so snowed under with school and life in general really and I would of posted this yesterday but I was stuck in Derby with my boyfriend until three in the morning.
As it is the eleventh of the eleventh I thought I'd write a little tribute to the fallen.
I got on the bus at ten to eleven to go to my boyfriends house. The bus driver stopped the bus just before eleven and handed out poppies before we sat there in silence- Respect.
I see people post on Facebook and Twitter "R.I.P"- Respect.
I wander around town and see the public wear the red poppy in a sign of well- Respect.
But the bus driver and the social networkers and the public don't fight and so the bus driver and the social networkers and the public will never know how hard it is to put your life on the line like they have.
I understand some elders might have been there and some teenagers are training as cadets and that they, they are members of the public too. So maybe my statement was wrong.
But these wars ripple through every generation.
The little boys who play with their tank toys who don't yet understand their meaning.
And the teenage girl with her hair in a bun in her uniform ready to do her healing.
And the elderly man who sits in his chair, trying to hide the feeling.
Will never go away.
Lest we forget.
In my next post I'll be talking about the ups and downs of relationships.
Yours, httphoe xo
