Kings Cross Station
Kings Cross Railway Station is on the northern edge of central London. It was opened in 1852 and was completely restored in 2013. This was the first time that I had seen it since the restoration. I only passed through briefly, but it all looked very beautiful, especially with the giant Remembrance Day Poppy.
Full Disclosure - I'm afraid I've cheated and am posting a picture I took on my trip to London yesterday. It was the poppy that made me do it! Totally appropriate for today, Armistice Day! (Veterans Day in the US)
Today the final poppy was laid at the Tower of London.
