Coastal Range Mountain Top View
A gorgeous sunny day made us go for a hike on a new trail through a fabulous old forest. The moss covered trees were much higher than that I could have pictured them rightly with my lens. So I had to wait until we reached the mountain top where in the late 18 hundreds Indians had burned down the vegetation to create meadows. A beautiful view showed the Pacific glistening in the sun. (Quite nice in large.) At the horizon there is a big fog bank and above it the sky made these strange pinkish waves. Never seen anything like it and this is straight out of the camera, with only slight cropping.
Sorry for not commenting , hubby is packing for his early morning leave for Reno. Have to help him there a bit.
Thank you so much for your great feedback for Mrs. Mantis! I am glad that you liked the Yoga-Mantis, as one of you called her :-)
