The end of the world ...

Well, not exactly, but this is the end of the southernmost route in Argentina and a place where people go to have their photo taken. It's 20 kms outside Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego; the southernmost city in South America. The southernmost continental point in South America is Cape Froward (south of Punta Arenas) but there is no settlement there. The southernmost settled point including islands is Puerto Williams on the Chilean island of Navarino. That is of course discounting scientific (and military?) posts on disputably claimed land in Antarctica.
