Damaged by the Hail

I was so pleased I took this shot this morning of my first Peony because we have a bad hail storm this afternoon. You can still see the damaged on the leaves and petals from our other Hail storm last week. This Peony is a lovely dark red when it is fully out.

The sun is shinning again but it is very cold because the snow is low down on the mountains. We still have some hail stones in the garden and it just looks like snow. Pleased it happen yesterday.

Here is my blip for yesterday and you can see we have a fine day and there were some colourful outfits. We had a wonderful time and we go again to the races on Show Day, that is this Friday as it is another big event, but not so formal.
