Wet Roses

An interesting spring day that has gone from one extreme to the other. Rain, wind, wind and more wind. The downpower was enough to wake me at 3am, when the house was making funny noises.

A phone call at work from a friend, alerted me to the fact she wasn't coming to a meeting tonight, due to the sad ending of one of her family members.

I whipped around to see her after work and she wasn't home, having gone to place flowers on the water at Maketu.
