French cemetery

In a Akaroa there are 3 cemeteries.

One for Anglicans
One for Roman Catholics and "dissidents" (i.e. all other religions)
And this one for the French.

It really is a memorial more than a cemetery to honour the earliest French settlers here.

I like the "French Connection" in Akaroa. It adds real character and identity to the town.
