horology

A clock with history should be admired in it's ability to keep time... this clock is a friends family clock - adorning mantles for many years gone but for the last unknown years it has sat idle in it's task.... so I nominated my neighbour to resurrect it... it's rather handy having a horologist next door.

Sending her this photo with a note its nearly finished may or may not have been a terrible thing to do....but at least she recognised it.

So many moving parts to do what we assume is such a simple task - but when your think about it - there is quite a lot going on in seconds, minutes, hours
