Keeping watch.

I have bought more bulbs and replanted after the naughty squirrels ate their way through the last lot.

I was really careful not to leave any trace that planting had been going on - didn't drop even one bit of bulb skin (?) on the floor and covered the areas with fallen leaves and citrus smelling gel (which is for keeping cats/dogs off but I'm told might work for squirrels too, you never know).

Fingers crossed.

The cats kept watch from the roof of the shed while I was working and are under strict instructions to chase off any squirrels that might try their luck once I've finished.
