Feeling sad today as it's my friend's birthday. She died unexpectedly in August and this birthday is a milestone for her family and friends. This is my favourite photo of her taken at her daughter Suzy's wedding. I know she worked very hard to make that day one to remember for everyone and here she is looking fabulous as though she'd spent a week at a spa being pampered.
We had a running joke, particularly at work about our birthdays, which were close together. So here's my friend, affectionately known as Mrs P, looking like a million dollars and lighting up the room with her smile. Happy heavenly birthday. We're missing you down here but I'm sure you know that.
