The crazy rush hour (17.30-20.30 and then some)
This doesn't convey the hustle, bustle, noise, mayhem and fumes which make the Mumbai rush hour something else.
Our driver drove home with his full beam on and negotiated his way by weaving all over the road to dodge motorbikes, buses, lorries, scooters and pedestrians who make Glaswegians look like outright amateur jaywalkers.
We had dinner with our brother in laws' relatives. R's brother still goes to work in his factory every day at 79 years of age and he is easier to understand than R who has lived in Scotland for more than 50 years!
Made to feel very welcome and food delicious. J will have to stay another week unfortunately so I will be coming home alone on Saturday.
