Distracted

The idea was that the WI Camera Group would visit a pretty village and take pictures of the poppy wreaths on the war memorial. On arrival we discovered that the war memorial was in deep shade and had just four wreaths and a few little crosses on it. Not much scope here. We took some pictures of the war memorial and the nearby church and cottages. Soon the draw of the very individual dress shop was too much, and the rest of the afternoon was spent helping one of our number buy a dramatic jacket. By the time we left the village evening was drawing in.
