enDANGERed MOUSE!

I arrived home to find the house in uproar.
A dormouse (probably) had been rescued in the garden, from the clutches of next door's cat.

It was duely rehoused to a shoebox, fed bramble flowers (amazing in its own right given the season) and named Cornelius.

The children's research found that dormice are in fact endangered and so the RSPCA was called...and they came out! And whisked Cornelius away to his new life...

They have now been renamed "International Mouse Rescue" in my house.
