Remembrance Poem.

Living Stones café which is part of St Andrew's Baptist Church is a place I often visit for morning coffee. This poignant poem was printed on a tea towel and set on a table as part of a Remembrance display. I liked the words so much I thought it would make a nice final blip on my Poppy Day theme. I went to Soham on the bus to visit a friend and had a nice lunch with her and was shown round her lovely new house but I should have got an earlier bus back to Cambridge as we hit the works traffic and the roads were almost at a standstill in places. Made me glad to be retired !
