Where did the day go?

Gosh, nearly ten o'clock and just getting around to blipping.

A bit of a grisly day today, dry but dull in the morning. Went shopping, then home for lunch. We got a new light fitting for the dining room in Ikea a few days ago, and today we took the old light fitting, which is perfectly good, along to the church to go in the 'Start Up' box, for people with few means starting up in a new home.

The HG cleared out one of his two cupboards (?) of clothes; his strategy was that if he couldn't remember the last time he wore an item, he chucked it. I think I will have to try the same strategy to clear out some of my things. Anyhow, we also had a trip to the recycling area to get rid of quite a lot of clothing.

By this time the rain was battering down, so we picked up E from school to save her from a right soaking, she was pleased!

And have just come home from visiting C, who is off on a short trip tomorrow.

As I said at the beginning, where did the day go????
