Rodborough Fort

Standing on the hillside looking down across Stroud is Rodborough Fort a folly building on the edge of the National Trust owned Rodbourgh Common.

This morning started out with terrible rainstorms but by the time I got back to the house at lunchtime it had changed into the most beautiful day, so Bertie and I managed a good hour long walk across the common.
