Pearls of wisdom

We speent the day with Cosmo today. It was a cold and windy day. By the time we were down at the beach and harbour Cosmo was definitely telling us she was getting cold and fed up with the cold and wind.

There were lots of people with cameras around while we were at the harbour, I think there was maybe a camera club outing.

The ferry from Orkney came in while we were there, this seemed quite unusual, we think it must have been several hours late. We also saw this ship, Ocean Pearl, a research vessel leaving harbour and heading out to the Judy Gas Field. It is quite a bit larger than the typical support vessels, and looks like it will be on the Judy Field for several days at least. The small boat near the stern of the vessel is the Aberdeen pilot boat.

After the excitement of seeing the flurry of activity at the harbour Cosmo was quite relieved we then decided to go home.
