Kookaburra sits on the old park bench

After struggling for a blipfoto yesterday a walk around Brisbane saw me have plenty candidates to post for today ... this is my favourite. It's a Kookaburra snapped sitting on the back of a bench in the Old Botantic Gardens in Brisbane City Centre. The shot is taken with my digi-compact that only has a 4x zoom and I just kept moving closer and taking a shot. I've never been this close to a Kookaburra before !
