Wandering home

went to the Camera Club in Kennington this evening where someone was talking about
camera clubs in London in the 1930s. A lot hasn't changed that much. Amateur Photographer magazine were at that time lamenting the fact that a lot of the photography in the clubs wasn't very modern or original. Perhaps they had some of the same judges as we do who don't take too kindly to anything too unusual!
One thing that has changed is that women members were unusual then, and even banned from some clubs.
