Visited an old soldier my friend in hospital whom is very ill. 73 .

He had to have 3 biopsy's from his neck, he asked Not, to have any
pain relief.

An old soldier, he was warned- the nurses and medical staff were stunned.

He said I can take this for my fallen servicemen.

He did.

A three slit biopsy of the throat with no anesthesia.

Of all my years as a nurse I have never seen a braver man!

What a Scots soldier, he asked me to plant his poppy for him.


Bravery "is amazing" liberty and freedom is what I fought for.
