Preening

I'm falling behind with my blips again - this one is from last Friday. We had company for dinner in the evening, so much of my day was spent getting the house ready and preparing the meal, but I did find time late morning for a walk around the lake in Samoreau. The day had started out wet, but I timed my walk just right, as there were even a few brief glimpses of sun, before the rain returned as I got back to the car. In addition to the usual many coots, today I saw a heron and a few cormorants, but the swans were being quite photogenic, so that is what I bring you today!
