Dereliction at Dawn
The old engine shed, part 1.
I woke up early today. More early than I had any right too. My wife had a rather ill behaved class yesterday and I had a set of very frustrating meetings so it was time for a mid week pick me up which involved red wine and my famous spaghetti bolognese (from the freezer, when I make it I make lots as it takes 7 hours or so to cook from scratch ).
I was therefore somewhat woolly headed upon waking. A brisk walk at 6 am is just the ticket, well not really but I did it anyway.
There is an old "engine shed" a few miles from my house. There is no access to it unless you have a tractor or a stout set of boots and a mind to get there. I don't have a tractor. You can see it from the road but this is the first time I have been up close to it and it certainly ticks the derelict box.
More meetings today... <sigh>
SarumStroller's derlict Thursday event.
edit: I am also thankful that I remembered my spare battery for my camera because as I got to the shed the other one ran out. That would not have been good. I forgot about thankful Thursday :-)
