Ear Moulding #Zanzibar

In Zanzibar our team, the Zanzibar Outreach Programme run mobile clinics to conduct screening for early signs of disability including eyesight and hearing loss. We also run health educations sessions providing information about avoidable hearing impairment and how to care for the eyes.

Anyone who is identified as having hearing difficulties through our screening programme receives on the spot treatment or, with more serious cases are referred for further medical care.

IMPACT firmly believes that prevention is better than cure - identifying issues with eyesight at an early stage means they can be treated before they develop into a more serious health condition.
