Mahonia 'Charity'

Here is the link to Mahonia : I blipped the wee yellow flowers a couple of days back, so here it is in more detail. Someone knew what the were doing planting it here : it gives a great splash of winter colour.

I'm very aware of becoming increasingly wordless on Blip, since I moved. I'm finding it very hard to enjoy being here & know I'm depressed.
I'm still reading lots of Philip Roth ; I find his intelligence & wit a great companion. For a short, tough read try 'The Dying Animal', the title is taken from a Yeats poem 'Sailing to Byzantium' , if I knew how to put a 2nd link in, I'd give you it, as I don't------- tomorrow will have to serve.
